Terms of use

Hybrid is free, open-source software. These terms are short because the license does most of the work.

The license

Hybrid is released under the MIT License. You can use, copy, change and share it, including commercially, as long as you keep the copyright and license notice. Hybrid is built on T3 Code, also MIT licensed, and its notice stays with it.

No warranty

Hybrid is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, the authors aren’t liable for any damage or loss from using it, as the MIT License says in full.

You’re in charge of your project

Hybrid reads your code, edits files and runs commands on your machine. It asks before pushing code, deleting things or touching secrets, but you’re responsible for what you approve and for reviewing changes before you rely on them. Keep backups and use version control.

Your AI provider

Hybrid uses your own Claude or Codex subscription. Your use of those services is governed by Anthropic’s terms or OpenAI’s terms, including what you may build with them.

Names

The MIT License covers the code, not the Hybrid name or face. Feel free to fork it, but please give your fork its own name so people don’t mistake it for this one.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version.
